Plant Engineer

The Plant Engineer provides design input on processes and systems to ensure economical, reliable, safe, and efficient systems operation; assists capital improvement projects and supervises projects that optimize the automation process.

Shift Operators

Shift Operators must be willing to learn new procedures in the ethanol industry. Prior ethanol plant experience is preferred but not required. We offer comprehensive on-the-job training. Boiler operation, process control systems, reverse osmosis, chiller operation and cooling tower experience would be helpful. 12 hour shifts on a rotating schedule allowing for 2-3 days off between rotation. $5.00/hr shift differential for night shift. 

Maintenance Tech (CURRENT OPENINGS)

Shift maintenance personnel need to have general understanding of maintenance procedures and be willing to learn procedures for the ethanol industry. Knowledge of 4-20 milliamps, 460 V 3 Ph power distribution,welding and payloader experience is a plus.  Maintenance shifts are typically 7am – 4 pm with fluctuations during maintenance turnarounds, on-call activities, harvest operations and subject to change as necessary.  For safety reason, conversational English is required.

Material Handler

Siouxland Energy Cooperative is looking for a Material Handler to join our team in Sioux Center. The Material Handler is responsible for operating mobile equipment to transport materials safely, timely, and efficiently to support business operations. Mobile equipment including payloaders, telehandlers, boom lifts and scissor lifts to load material into trucks for transport. Materials may include corn oil, wet distiller’s grain and syrup. Experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right individual.  For safety reason, conversational English is required.


Physical requirements include managing confined space, ability to lift 60lbs, ability to climb ladders and steps and be able to safely operate company equipment. Previous experience is always helpful, but Siouxland Energy is committed to providing extensive training to the right candidate.
