Shift Operators must be willing to learn new procedures in the ethanol industry. Prior ethanol plant experience is preferred but not required. We offer comprehensive on-the-job training. Boiler operation, process control systems, reverse osmosis, chiller operation and cooling tower experience would be helpful. 12 hour shifts on a rotating schedule allowing for 2-3 days off between rotation. $2.00/hr shift differential for night shift.
Shift maintenance personnel need to have general understanding of maintenance procedures and be willing to learn procedures for the ethanol industry. Knowledge of 4-20 milliamps, 460 V 3 Ph power distribution,welding and payloader experience is a plus. These individuals must be able to meet call in requirements.
Physical requirements include managing confined space, ability to lift 60lbs, ability to climb ladders and steps and be able to safely operate company equipment. Previous experience is always helpful, but Siouxland Energy is committed to providing extensive training to the right candidate.
